Hello Pettigrew Crew.

Today I bring you a review of an awesome kid’s plate that is just too special not to share with you. If you’re like me and enjoy turning the mundane into something special, then this plate just might be for you.

I received this stainless steel castle plate from Lifetime Inc in exchange for my honest review and was thrilled when I opened the box and saw how adorable it was in it’s cute little packaging. I mean seriously, just look at it!

We do a pom pom system of rewards in our family. When I catch my kids doing something thoughtful or helpful for a friend or family member or when they work hard at a task with a good attitude, they receive pom poms in cute little apple canisters. When they get to a certain amount of pom poms they get to pick out a prize from our prize box.

I decided to give this stainless steal castle plate to my kids as one of their pom pom prizes, and they reacted to this plate as if I had given them a toy. They were so excited and they quickly started to rattle off all of the different kinds of food we could fill it with.

I love how this plate brings out their creativity, and makes snack time and meal time so much fun. This plate is helpful in getting my kids to be excited about eating their veggies, which is a huge plus for this mom of four.

I like that I can use this for a meal that has a lot of sides or dips, but I like it even better as a snack plate. I load it with all of my kids favorite snacks and they all share it while they play or do arts and crafts at the table. You can see their little hands in the pic below. They were quite excited to be Mommy’s helpers for this review.

This plate makes snack time an event and I love that. I’m always trying to add special touches to my kid’s day and this product accomplishes that for me.

Another pro for this plate, is how well made and sturdy it is. I know it will hold up better than their plastic kids plates do, and I don’t have to worry about it chipping or breaking.

I usually do cons now, but I seriously have none with this product.

TIPS FOR OTHER USES:

I’ve found that this plate also makes a great arts and craft organizer. I place all of the art pieces my kids need for their craft (toothpicks, buttons, string, etc) in the different slots. It keeps craft time more organized and seriously more cute.

This plate would make a cute little gift as well. The packaging is adorable and it’s just the kind of specialty item that makes gift giving fun.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I love this stainless steal castle plate from Lifetime Inc and so do my kids. This is a well made and creative product. I have found multiple uses for this plate and couldn’t be happier with it.
